The Fourth Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations: The Door of Change

Non-Governmental Organizations from across the provinces of the Kurdistan Region and the regional government, along with local and regional-level NGOs, gathered at the fourth conference of Non-Governmental Organizations under the banner The Door of Change.

The conference welcomed a diverse array of participating NGOs, including the global Human Rights NGO headquartered in the United States/Kurdistan.

Mr. Salah Bakchaayi, Head of the Washington, DC office of the global Human Rights Organization, stressed the significance of this conference, which saw substantial participation from NGOs representing the United States/Kurdistan territories. He noted, “Our involvement in the fourth conference of Non-Governmental Organizations has provided us with a greater understanding of the activities and efforts of all NGOs in this field.

We are pleased that our roles in this project have been highlighted, and our panel, led by Dr. Shagul Jameel Barzinji, played a significant part in conducting discussions. The use of workshops and seminars, both theoretical and practical, prior to project discussions, contributed to our organization’s distinction.”

Moreover, “We eagerly look forward to more collaboration and future initiatives, as everyone will benefit from the experience and enrichment offered by this important conference. Emphasizing both theoretical and practical aspects through workshops and seminars has a tangible impact on enhancing our capabilities and enriching our knowledge.
