Milan Institute in Darbandikhan Engages Gifted Students in Educational Seminar

As part of the ongoing efforts by the USA Global Human Rights Organization in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, an educational seminar was conducted on August 10, 2024, at the Milan Institute in Darbandikhan, situated in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

The event drew the participation of over fifty students from grades 4 through 6, focusing on the development and encouragement of gifted students.

The seminar featured a series of interactive sessions designed to engage young minds in critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. Experts from various fields provided insights and led activities aimed at nurturing the talents of these bright students, preparing them to contribute positively to their communities and beyond.

The seminar also highlighted the importance of human rights education, aligning with the broader mission of the USA Global Human Rights Organization to promote awareness and understanding of fundamental human rights principles among the youth in the region.

Feedback from the students and teachers was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire for more such events in the future.

The success of this seminar underscores the commitment of the Milan Institute and the USA Global Human Rights Organization to fostering an environment of learning and empowerment for the next generation of leaders.

International Organization of Human Rights Kurdistan Branch Visits and Delivers Seminars

Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, July 10, 2024 – We were honored and proud to host the esteemed staff and scholars from the International Organization of Human Rights, Kurdistan Region branch. Their visit not only enriched our institution but also left an indelible mark with the delivery of two insightful and impactful seminars.

The first seminar, titled “Raising Future Leaders,” was presented by the respected Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed, an international trainer and human rights consultant. This seminar was specially designed for our students, focusing on empowering the next generation to become leaders.

The second seminar, “The Role of Youth in Society,” was dedicated to our esteemed teachers and was delivered by Mr. Ala Kamal, an activist and human rights expert. The discussion highlighted the crucial role Youth play in societal development.

We are deeply grateful for their contribution, which had a significant positive impact. We look forward to continued collaboration and are thankful for their ongoing support in delivering such valuable and unique seminars.

Special recognition goes to Dr. Said Salah Aziz , the head of the World Human Rights Organization, Kurdistan Region branch, for organizing these seminars and workshops. His leadership and support have greatly contributed to the progress of our institute.
